St. Colman's School "Artist in Schools" Project was launched on the first day of Term 2. A special morning tea was held so that staff, parents and grandparents could meet our artist Colleen Hughson. This was followed by a whole school assembly where Colleen displayed samples of her movie making work and gathered our ideas for our project "Mortlake Shines". It promises to be a very exciting experience! Michael Saunders Principal

So far I learnt 1: That you should never cover the microphone or the lense. 2: Use a tripod when filming something that moves or is hard to film handheld. 3: When filming face the camera away from the sun not into it. 4: Try not to move your hands when filming inside or outside. 5: The last thing that I have learnt so far is that you should film HORIZONTALY not PORTRIAT.

Something I have found challenging is keeping the camera still without a tripod.

The thing that I have found fun is using Itime-lapse, Filmic Pro and Wave Pad.
