The fun parts of doing this project are helping other people film there projects but also filming my own project and learning about the CFA.
I’ve learnt the fire fighters story behind the fish and chip shop burning down and discussing how it happened and what they went through, and then having my story of events and being able to compare what the fire fighters had to do and what I had to do.

The whole project has been fun, because we get to work together, help each other all at the same time as learning about filming and kelpies. The best part was going onto the Gedye’s farm and filming dogs.There are a lot of filming techniques you need to learn to be able to create a perfect document or film. It’s hard to make an 8 minute film, imagine having to make a film that goes for 2 hours!

It has been fun to go and meet Lyn at her house and to interview her about her job and see all the animals that she had. Something interesting that I have learnt is how to use the filming apps and devices.

It has been fun to experiment while creating ideas – some are even strange. It has been fun to have the privilege to use the ipads for filming. Something interesting that I have learnt is that it is hard to keep a steady hand and to not put your hand over the microphone it is useful to use a tripod and in apps you have to make sure that you have perfect white balance, focus and exposure (light) so you make a great film.

It has been fun to do the filming and the editing the shots that Brodie and I filmed. Something interesting that I have learnt is how to edit the film and get everything into their correct order.
